So you've finished the novel, or almost. This week finish Slaughterhouse-Five and write a blog entry that focuses on the end. Think about picking up themes discussed in earlier blog entries. Try to get to some sort of conclusion if you can.

Thursday or Friday you'll be getting reading for vacation. You can choose either Maus or Persepolis.

Also bring in your aphorisms for Writers Workshop.

This week complete three more blog entries. I'd like you to write at least one based on an entry from someone else's blog. Also, be sure to be including vocabulary when necessary - 'kay?

Also, Wednesday or Thursday your revised essays are due. Be sure to have them printed and stapled.

Continue to read and blog as well. Let's begin the week by just responding to one another's blogs. Respond to at least three other blogs about Slaughterhouse-Five. We'll look at your responses together in class.

In addition please write one blog entry this weekend.

Reading at Home

This week I'd like you all to take out copies of Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five. By next Monday I'd like you to have written two reading blogs. For each reading blog, please respond to 15-20 pages of text.

Also, this Wednesday or Thursday (depending on your section) bring in your revisions of your synthetic essays.
