Each week you will be given a list of readings and expected response blogs. Your blogs will be graded weekly using the scale as explained on the syllabus.
Your response should be original, well thought out and follow the guidelines as established in the Blog Rubric.
Here are some ideas:
Synthesis: make connections with other books, movies, even images. We like links and pics.
Analysis: explicate your text. What is the writer doing? How are they doing it?
Anecdote: narrate your own experience reading. What are you thinking? Where are you? Get us inside your brain.
Vocabulary: cite come vocabulary in context, with definitions and pneumonic images
You are not limited to these categories. You may create your own original ways to respond to our texts. I may assign specific types of blog entries for specific. You'll also want to vary your approach as much a possible to avoid redundancy.
